All of our centres can be booked by both Woodcraft Folk groups and other groups for weekends or longer.
Guest Information
Please bring with you all that you need for your stay.
Lighting on site is limited so a torch is essential. You’ll also need to bring along your own toilet roll and soap. Masks should be worn in indoor areas, including the toilet blocks.
Calor gas cylinders can be exchanged at Murco Service station Ross-on-Wye HR9 6DP and the local shops in Monmouth can supply all you need for your stay.
Biblins provides a unique environment for children and young people, as such only schools and recognised children and youth groups can use the site during the Herefordshire Summer Term dates. Recognised children and young groups include uniformed youth groups, sports groups and any official or voluntary group that provides formal or informal learning to those under the age of 25 years.
Other community groups are welcome to book the site at all other times.
We are open for families and private hire during the Herefordshire School holidays including Easter, Spring half term and Summer holidays. Family and Priavte Hire Information

Absolutely!
At the Biblins site we have Camp Koodoo, which provides everything you need for a group of up to 36 campers! And we also have The Burrow – which is a fantastic undercover sleeping accommodation for up to 19 people. For a warm summer evening, the roof even slides back! The Burrow booking also includes a small area for camping for groups who have a few of their own tents, which potentially gives the opportunity for those who haven’t camped before to give it a try – the best of both worlds!
For Families, we have the Biblins Bell Tents pitched and ready for you to roll out your sleeping bag. The Burrow is also open for Family bookings.
We’ll do whatever we can to enable your group to stay at the Biblins, so if you have any questions, please do get in touch!
The camp-fire is perhaps one of the most memorable parts of any camp and one of things that often public campsites don’t offer – so many children have never had the experience of toasting marshmallows around a communal campfire.
Firewood is available on-site, with a dedicated sawing and splitting areas by the warden’s cabin. Please ensure that you add this to your booking.
You’ll need to bring a saw, please ensure your fire stays within the existing pit boundary.
Please do not forage for wood in the surrounding forest and DO NOT attempt to light any fires within the woods.
The forest is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and needs to be protected.
Ensure that BBQs are kept of the ground. Bricks are available if needed.
Only registered assistance dogs will be allowed to camp or stay in any of the buildings at Biblins.
Along the public footpath you will find dog walkers – all dogs should be kept on a lead and owners should pick up after their dogs. Please report any irresponsible dog owners to the on-site warden.
Biblins is primarily a tent camping site.
For groups thinking of bringing a caravan or camper because you don’t have camping equipment, please have a look at The Burrow & Camp Koodoo which are equipped for group stays.

Access to the site is not suitable for caravans or motor homes. We do not have hard standing pitches, chemical toilet disposal or electric hook up.
Small campers may stay on site, please let us know when making your booking.
We run “off grid” so it’s back to nature. We have a number of solar panels around the site which provide energy for lighting the toilet and shower blocks, but there is no electric hook up or wifi.
If you need an electric point for medical equipment please let us know.
Please note that there is no reliable mobile phone signal on site. Network signal is available at the King Arthur’s Cave car park, at the top of the access track.
Showers are situated by each of the toilet blocks. Please note, there is no shower in the burrow.
Outdoor washing up points are situated by each of the Toilet blocks.
The only permissible access to the River Wye, from Biblins Camp Site, is via the Canoe Launch facility. This is for access to the river in boats only and is NOT to be used for swimming. At all other locations the bank and shore of the River are in private ownership and access is NOT permitted. This includes the beach area, downstream of the bridge.
Campers are asked to keep to our quiet time, from 10pm – 7:am. No amplified music is permitted at any time.
Doward Park campsite at the top of the forestry track have exchange facilities for small (up to 7kg) gas bottles
The SPAR Garage just before the A40 (Whitechurch, A40, Ross-on-Wye HR9 6DW) can exchange larger bottles. Up to 15kg Butane cylinders and 19kg Propane cylinders.
